Enjoying the 4th of July weekend with the fam, Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise were spotted out on a shopping trip with Suri at the Westfield Shopping Mall in Century City, CA on July 2. The couple picked up a few bags of loot from the Madewell boutique and Riginals kid's store before enjoying some ice cream treats at Ben & Jerry's with their little one. Katie dressed casually for their afternoon outing, wearing a loose white dotted button down (get comfortable in Splendid's Silky Shirt in White or LA Made's breezy Charlotte Blouse in White) with distressed denim shorts (just like Joe's Jeans' Ex-Lover Flap Short in Shane) and a cute straw fedora with a black band. Katie carried a roomy cross-body bag (check out Foley + Corinna's new Mid City Tote in Blonde) and covered up with dark aviators, holding hands with her man as they made their way around the outdoor mall. The shopping trip came just one day before Tom's 48th birthday, but he seems as youthful as ever while promoting Knight & Day with Cameron Diaz. While Katie looks after Suri as Tom is away on the press trail, she'll soon be back to work playing Jackie Kennedy on the new History Channel miniseries chronicling the iconic American family.
