Gwen Stefani was photographed leaving a friend's house in Hollywood on August 10, keeping her look much more casual and accessible than one of her latest outings. Starting with a light wash pair of slouchy and distressed boyfriend jeans (get the look with What Goes Around Comes Around's C.V. Flannel Patch Boyfriend Jean in Red), Gwen then added on a great basic black tank (like Michael Stars' Scoop Muscle in Black) and a pair of cool cage booties. A pair of black cat eye sunglasses, along with a yellow shoulder bag and layered necklaces, completed Gwen's casual ensemble. To emulate the way Gwen accessorized on this occasion, try layering Satya Jewelry's We Are One Gold Necklace with Robyn Rhodes' Marisol Necklace in Gold for a cool, funky result. Do you vote thumbs up or thumbs down for this look on Gwen, friends? In other news, the No Doubt front woman recently sat down with Harper's Bazaar to discuss her fashion learning process, divulging: "I think I’ve always, my whole life, loved to get dressed up and even if nobody was looking at me, I would still get dressed up. My mom took me to the fabric store... we made clothes from when I was a little girl. High school was really when I discovered music and I figured out, ‘Oh, this defines me,’ and I was making thrift-store clothes. I used to do a lot of buying of clothes and then altering them to make them how I wanted — lots of glue guns, lots of Velcro.” Oh Gwen, always so crafty!
