"Gossip Girl" star Leighton Meester was spotted in between takes of the hit series in New York on April 4, smiling and looking pretty much adorable as always. Wearing a striped cardigan (similar to Cake Couture's Stripe Cardigan in Cream) over a casual ombre tank dress with black tights and flat black boots, Leighton accessorized her look with a spotted headband, a gold necklace with a green stone accent (check out Danielle Stevens Jewelry's Agate Tear Drop and Butterfly Charm Necklace in Green) and a large blue bag (like Antoinette Lee Designs' Stella Tote in Royal). While Leighton's face might not be familiar to some of you, it surely is if you are one of the many who are so excited that "Gossip Girl" is back with new episodes (as I am!). Of the upcoming episodes, Leighton told OK! Magazine,"It’s five episodes that are actually nine episodes packed into five! So it’s a lot of stuff." As far as working with the newest member of the cast, Michelle Trachtenberg, Meester says that she "has only met her a couple of times. I haven’t had many scenes with her but I’m about to. The idea that someone would comment about her weight is utterly sick-- it's disgusting--- if you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all.There should never be a need to comment on someones weight unless they ask.
