GLAMOROUS "GOSSIP"

Blake Lively was photographed in between takes of her hit show "Gossip Girl" in NYC on August 19, and is it my imagination or is she wearing some sort of skirt/shorts combo? Now don't get me wrong, I think Blake looks fabulous here, so maybe the skort is coming back? Wearing a similar shade of cobalt blue to the dress she wore on August 24, Blake's on-set ensemble started with a flowy blue tunic (for similar silhouettes, try Wish's sheer Voltage Tunic in Purple or Fifteen-Twenty's Blouson Sleeve Top in Teal) and the aforementioned skirt/shorts (opt for a classic pair of black silk shorts with Walter's Sandwashed Short in Black), along with a pair of gorgeous Giuseppe Zanotti stilettos and a plum colored YSL hobo bag. Accessory wise, Blake wore an oversized gem cocktail ring with a major statement necklace (love the look of Amrita Singh's Vilma Necklace in Black), and then let her wavy blonde locks blow in the wind. What are you feeling about Blake's look here, everyone? Is this something that you would ever wear while strolling the streets of NYC, or is the costume department of "Gossip Girl" a bit more like a glamorous, chic fantasy land? It seems that Blake is also quite the fashion darling of the moment, a title given to her by none other than Anna Wintour. Blake dished on her friendship with Anna - keep in mind that there are rumors that Blake will be appearing on a third cover of US Vogue (!!!!) - to Marie Claire, saying: "I was speaking with Anna Wintour and we were just talking about different fashion houses and I said, 'I love Chanel,' and she said, 'You should come with me to the show. I also said I loved Dior. She said, 'Okay, well I'll take you to the Chanel and Dior shows and we'll meet with Karl [Lagerfeld] and John [Galliano] afterwards.' Insane!" Must be nice!
