GIVE US A BESO, EVA

Though she usually looks classy, Eva Longoria has been trying out a lot of questionable new looks lately, from adding on a few lb’s and cropping her hair for her Desperate Housewives role to wearing unusually drab and maternal dresses out and about with hubby Tony Parker. Luckily Eva switched it up with an all black ensemble on her way to have her brows tamed at a Los Angeles salon on July 29, proving that although her character has let herself go, Eva is still keeping up her appearance off-screen. Eva looked steely in her black tank mini dress (like Rails’ Lydia Mini Dress in Black or Ecoganik’s V Neck Babydoll Dress in Black), a black cap (similar to Rails’ Fidel Hat in Black) and dark aviators (check out JeeVice’s Crybaby II in Silver), while carrying a sleek black zipper wallet and sporting her favorite flip-flips (the soles read “Fly, fly away, but leave me your credit cards” – hmmm, is that Gaby Solis talking?). In other news, Eva unveiled plans this week to open a new location of her star-studded Beso restaurant in none other than Sin City. The inspiration comes from Beso’s upstairs, private lounge called Kiss (couldn’t she have come up with a more original name? Beso means kiss in Español, FYI), so the Vegas spin-off will be more of a bar lounge than a restaurant, yet will still serve its fabulous Mexican-fusion dishes for hungry clubbers. No word yet on where the new locale will reside, but rumor has it Eva is eyeing Caesar’s Palace for her first pick – maybe because the Forum shops are located nearby? Eva has also been fighting off speculation that she was inspired to crop her coif by her Posh gal pal, saying she had the option to wear a wig for DH but her hubby liked the idea of short locks better. Eva said, "Tony cut my hair. Well, my hairdresser Ken Paves fixed it. Tony has been wanting me to cut my hair. Ken came over and set it up for Tony and said, ‘You do the first cut.’ So Tony cut about half of it and then Ken fixed it." Wonder how things would have turned out if Mr. Paves wasn’t there to save the day?
