Stepping out in style, Beyonce Knowles grabs a bite to eat with hubby Jay-Z in NYC's SoHo neighborhood on September 11. The hip-hop power couple lunched at Lure Fishbar before heading back to their chauffeured SUV, smiling for a slew of fans waiting to snap their pics before they were whisked away. Ignoring the white-after-Labor-Day rule, Bey was dressed casually in fatigue shorts (I'm loving the cargo details on Kill City's Cargo Shorts in Olive), a white scoop tee (like Splendid's Vintage Whisper Pocket Tee in Paper) and beige open cardi (add a splash of color with Raw 7's Paradise Bird Cardigan in Khaki), dressing up the casual look with suede YSL's and a black brimmed hat. Beyonce accessorized with a black pendant necklace (add a refined touch with Tiger Lily's Small Black Crystal in Black) and carried a camel spotted tote (try Rough Roses' Francesca Carry All in Camel) as she made her way about her day. I think this is a great end of summer look for Bey, blending her casual attire with luxurious textures in the bag and heels. The bombshell songstress just celebrated her 29th birthday last week, and I can hardly believe it's been twelve years since she first broke out on the music scene with Destiny's Child. While she's come a long way since then, Bey recently chatted with Self magazine about her charitable roots: “I watched my parents get involved in [community charities growing up in Houston], and that taught me how important it is to ‘give ’til it hurts.’ I saw how happy you could make people, whether just giving someone a hug, having a conversation or spending some time, and it became a part of me.” With a big voice and a big heart, there's no stopping Bey!
