GIFTING SUITE SWEET

Stopping by a gifting suite that was held at a private residence in Brentwood, CA on August 18, Miley Cyrus looked super sweet as she posed and waved for the cameras. I don't know about you, but I think that this might possibly be the best I've ever seen Miley look! I LOVE that she ditched the long, ratty hair extensions and is rocking a shorter 'do... very chic. And trust me, "chic" and "Miley" are two words I never thought I'd use in the same sentence! Clothing wise, Miley wore a pretty lace dress (get a similarly sweet frock with either Sue Wong's Battenburg Lace Short Dress in White or Testament's Ruffle Lace Dress in Cream) that she toughened up with a pair of black leather biker boots (for boots that are similar yet a bit taller, check out Giuseppe Zanotti's Motorcycle Boot in Black). From there, MC accessorized with a statement necklace (try Sachin + Babi for Ankasa's Raffina Necklace in Beige) and a few bangles. Are you as enamored with this ensemble as I am, everyone? In the gossip department, the latest rumors claim that Miss Cyrus is in the running for the lead role of Frances “Baby” Houseman in the upcoming remake (yes, they're making another one) of Dirty Dancing. Allegedly, Emma Roberts is also in the running for the role - who knew she could dance? When it comes to Johnny’s role, it seems that Justin Timberlake and Derek Hough are being considered. I mean... what are your thoughts on these choices, everyone? Do you you think that they should just leave well enough alone and scrap the whole idea of a remake altogether?
