GETTING LUCKY

Rachel McAdams has been laying low since her very public reunion with fellow Notebook star Ryan Gosling, but when she hit the red carpet in this stunning dress I don’t think anyone in the crowd could take their eyes off her. Rachel attended the premiere of her latest film, The Lucky Ones, at the Toronto International Film Festival on Sept 10, although her beau was not in attendance. Wearing a gorgeous maxi dress with a plunging neckline (try the similar cut of Tricia Fix’s Angelina Long Dress in Border or Kelly Cushing’s Butterfly Print Silk Dress in Blue) and matching gold heels, Rachel swept her chestnut brown curls up and kept her accessories minimal, carrying a simple gold clutch (like Julie K’s Sasha Clutch in Toffee) and wearing classic diamond studs. I don’t know about you but I absolutely love this look – she looks radiant without looking overdone, which always happens on the red carpet! Rachel has been hard at work over the past few months, promoting her role alongside Tim Robbins and Michael Peña in The Lucky Ones, starring Rachel as a wounded soldier returning from Iraq after her boyfriend is killed. Sounds like quite a gritty role for the Mean Girls star, but rumor has it Rachel gives a great performance. After the premiere, Rachel went to sushi eatery Blowfish with co-star Tim Robbins to toast their success, later joined by Ethan Hawke - quite a dinner date for Ms. McAdams! Not slowing down at all, Rachel has been filming two new projects over the past few months, the much anticipated adaptation of The Time Traveler’s Wife and State of Play. With all that hard work, you have to wonder how she found time to cuddle on the streets of Toronto with her newly rekindled lover a few weeks ago!
