Never missing a chance to shine, Christina Aguilera makes a showstopping entrance at Cecconi's in Hollywood on December 19. Having a romantic night out with her hubby Jordan Bratman, Christina celebrated her 29th birthday in style at the posh Italian eatery. Christina stopped traffic getting out of her ride in a flirty double breasted coat (Nanette Lepore's cleavage boosting Tie Jacket in Black is a great pick) and thigh high Christian Louboutin laced front boots (if you're one of the majority who can't afford to drop $1000 on shoes right now, opt for Farylrobin's edgy Harlow Knee High Boot in Grey with cool suede/leather contrast at a third of the price). Arriving with a sleek, straight 'do, Mamaguilera went for bold accessories with her British flag encrusted clutch (add a bold accent to any 'fit with one of Moyna Handbag's exquisite beaded creations like the Red Velvet Snap Clutch in Red). I haven't really been a fan of Christina's style in a long time – hair or clothing – but there's something about this look that comes off more polished than her usual attire. What do you readers think, is Christina's transition to acting is helping her gain style points? Pussycat Dolls creator Robin Antin thinks so, after casting Mamaguilera to appear in her show in 2003, she passed the word on to her brother, director Steve Antin, to keep Christina in mind for a future role, hence her casting in Burlesque. She tells MTV, "[Christina's] doing really well. She’s very talented, and it’s great when you have a director like my brother, Steve… He truly is one of the best directors.
