Looking a little under the weather, a somber Ashlee Simpson catches a flight out of Los Angeles at LAX on February 18. Ash arrived at the airport sans wedding ring after announcing her divorce last week, picking up a few magazines, Airborne tablets and a bottle of water before boarding her flight. Ashlee dressed for chilly temps in a thick grey checkered coat (check out Mike Gonzalez's Astrud Convertible Jacket in Multi) over a black zip-front sweater (similar to Ella Moss' Highland Long Sweater in Black) and a pair of black leggings with a coated sheen (like Robin's Jeans' Coated Jeggings in Flower). Ash stood tall in black suede boots, accessorizing with a cherry red Chanel bag (like Julie K Handbags' Renee in Red) and a cozy striped scarf (add a fun pattern like Lucky Brand's Wind Curled Scarf in Black). What do you think of Ashlee's high flying look, does it work for her edgy new haircut? I think she looks great except for her scowl, which I can only attribute to a possible cold warded off by those Airborne tablets. The jury is still out whether or not they're actually effective, but those bubbles sure do make you feel better! After announcing her separation from Pete Wentz earlier this month, sources report Ash is shopping for a new home to share with her son Bronx, according to a real estate insider who dished to Us Weekly: “They drove by a few houses in the $3 to 4 million range. The homes were also very close to [sister] Jessica’s house, which would be nice for her." Never hurts to have family nearby!
