FLYING SOLO AT "THE SHOW"?

Always one to take a fashion risk, Leighton Meester was seen basking in the photography spotlight last night at NYC's Fashion's Night Out: The Show at Lincoln Center, wearing an edgy Versus Fall 2010 turquoise dress. If you're into the sexy cutouts, check out Carter's Fab Side View Dress in Teal, or for other options in versions of this striking shade, try Sue Wong's Embroidered Summer Floral Mini in Turquoise or Boulee's Leah Center Pleat Dress in Blue. From there, Leighton slipped into metallic purple, orange, and blue Christian Louboutin Venus Orlato 140 ankle boots, toted a jeweled clutch and wore an oversized cocktail ring (try CC Skye's Gigi Ring in Silver). Is Leighton's look here something you like, or are you not really into it? While Lake's "GG" co-star Blake Lively also attended this event, Leighton was spotted attending the show alone, while Blake sat front row next to Vogue's Anna Wintour. Geez, it seems like Blake and Anna are new BFF's! Earlier that day, Leighton tweeted "I’m so excited!!! Can’t wait for #NYFW. It's a beautiful day for a fashion show!" I wonder if Leighton has any jealousy over Blake's newfound friendship with Anna herself, now that there are rumors around that Blake may be getting her third US Vogue cover??
