Though she does her best to stay out of the public eye, Rachel McAdams couldn’t escape the photogs after arriving at LAX on Nov 13. Nothing welcomes you back to LA like the ever-present paps! Even after what I presume to be a long flight, and a long vacation – given the size of her suitcase, which she pushed herself, I might add – Rach looks as composed as ever in her comfy flight ‘fit. Starting with a comfy guitar tee (like Love Couture’s Madonna Fitted Burnout Crew Neck Top in White) and casual jeans (such as Hudson’s Signature Bootcut in Tahoe), Rachel added an edgy black leather vest (try Gold Hawk’s Ribbed Motorcycle Jacket in Black) with a vibrant poppy pinned on the collar to celebrate Canadian Remembrance Day, tucking her tresses under an incognito black cap. I love the balance between Rach’s rocker vibe and her dainty gold necklace (see Christie Martin’s Coral Branch Necklace in Gold), slender gold cuff (like Rachel Leigh’s Twisted Bangle in Jet) and tan braided tote (check out Rough Roses’ Jewel Hobo in Tan) – what do you think of the casual look, does it work for her? I think she looks pretty good considering the circumstances, especially after reportedly calling it quits once again with The Notebook sweetheart Ryan Gosling. A “friend” of the couple has been telling the press his version of the break-up: “Rachel is too controlling. They broke up the first time because of their busy schedules--and that's the problem again.” Hmmm, I have a feeling Rachel might have a different story to tell!
