Trying out a sophisticated new look, Taylor Swift heads to Milan for Fashion Week and snags a front row seat at the Roberto Cavalli Spring/Summer 2011 presentation on September 27. T was seated next to the uber stylish Rachel Bilson, who was also spotted arriving carrying one of RC's coveted new "Diva" bags just like the one Taylor is holding here (the Diva won't be available for another month, and while you're waiting you can get the look for less with Julie K's Robin in Washed Leather Silver). Taylor arrived at the show channeling a romantic Bohemian look, pairing a ruffled blouse with a black tiered, pleated skirt (try tucking Jenny Han's Ruffle Blouse in White into Allison Parris' Tulle Mini Skirt in Black or Ella Moss' Cobra Skirt in Charcoal to add a subtle print). Taylor wore her trademark curls in softened waves, adding red lipstick for glamorous finish and strutting into the show in a pair of lace-up buckled boots (balance the sweetness of the ruffled top with an edgy boot like Rock & Republic's Nahlo Booties in Grey). What do you think of T's transformation here, does it work or is it too dreamy? I like that she's taking a chance with such a costumey look, and I adore the patterned tights so this one's a winner for me. In other Swift news, there's been a lot of talk lately that T is next in line to replace Lindsay Lohan's role in the upcoming film One Night With You due to her legal troubles, among other issues. The latest twist is that Taylor won't be replacing LiLo, but will actually be starring with her in the flick, according to producer Richard O'Sullivan, who claims it's all about scheduling: “If Lindsay takes care of her issues and we’re able to bond her then we would want her in the lead role of Nikki.” I knew T was too good natured to steal someone's job! Do you think she could teach LiLo a thing or two about how to get her act together? I'd hate to see the reverse happen and Lindsay's bad girl ways corrupt lil' T!

This is all Roberto Cavalli isn't it? I love the whole look, though it is over the top, like she just stepped out of a magazine - and the skirt is wrinkled.
