FILMING THE NEW CREDITS

The cast of "The Hills" was out in full force at The Grove in West Hollywood on September 18, as Lo Bosworth, Audrina Patridge, and Stephanie Pratt were spotted loaded with shopping bags and filming a "Sex and the City"-inspired new opening credits for their hit MTV reality show. Each girl sported a completely different look - allowing each of their personal styles (or as some of you might say, lack thereof) to emerge. Lo started with a simple black tank top (like Zooey's Ribbed Tank in Black) that she tucked into a sparkling high waisted pencil skirt (for a less flashy option, try Proportion Of Blu's Undici Asymmetrical Skirt in Grey) and a statement making black jeweled necklace (check out Rachel Leigh Jewelry's colorful Millie's Everyday Necklace in Gold). She completed her look with black Louboutin heels, a black Chanel chain bag and loose waves. Audrina, on the other hand, opted to let her casual-rocker side shine through as she chose an off the shoulder purple David Bowie t-shirt (Obvious Clothing's Destroyed Cotton Crew Tee in Heather Rose is a funky option) with super skinny white denim (A.Pat obviously doesn't care about that old rule about not wearing white jeans after Labor Day - try Proportion Of Blu's Lincoln Skinny Jean in Powder), strappy brown heels and a matching skinny belt (similar to Pellemelle's The Skinny Belt in Brown). Lastly, Stephanie chose hot pink suede Loubs, a girly tiered ruffle mini dress (I like the tad more sophisticated frocks from LaROK and the Joli Sophia Dress in Plum Hue or from Interlud and the beautiful Stone Detail Tiered Dress in Lilac) and an armful of exotic bangles. Which of the three girls' style do you like best - Lo's polished sophistication, Audrina's casual edginess or Stephanie's flirty girliness? I'm going with Lo on this one! In related "Hills" news, it looks like this season is the end of the road for Patridge, as she has announced that she's over it. She says, "I’m almost done with "The Hills" - we’re in the middle of finishing these episodes, and I’ll be leaving then. It feels like I’m graduating. I’m taking the next step and growing up and maturing and moving on in my life." Don't fret, Audrina fans... she's going to be returning with a new show of her own.
