Taking a break from filming "Gossip Girl" to indulge in a little retail therapy, Blake Lively was photographed shopping on Fifth Avenue in NYC on August 24. Looking lovely in a bright blue halter dress, Blake accessorized with a tan waist belt that she tied into a knot, grey peeptoe heels, a pair of aviator sunglasses, a huge tote bag, and a statement-making jeweled cuff. For a look similar to Blake's, try a frock in a similar shade (such as Jenny Han's Silk Georgette Flutter Dress in Azure or Boulee's Natalie Pleated V-Back Dress in Cobalt) or with a similar silhouette (like KEEMiA's Roxanne Ruffle Halter Dress with Feather in Purple) along with a big cuff like Robyn Rhodes' Vicki Cuff in Gold. What are your thoughts on BL's street style here, readers? Is this a look you would don for a day of upscale shopping? In other Blake news, she is speaking out about how she's actually quite shy, even though she posed in a very risque photo shoot for the new issue of Interview. Says B: "I'm actually a very shy person – that's a big secret, so don't tell. But being in [acting] classes pushed me to break out of that a little bit. It's like nature versus nurture: I'm naturally very shy, but I was brought up in a way where I had to get up and get out of that. With acting, I think half of it is just acting confident. We stand on these red carpets and pose in these dresses, but we're all only so confident. It doesn't mean we think we're great looking or anything. It's all a facade."
