It seems no matter where they go, Beyoncé and Jay-Z are always an impeccably dressed couple, and the 2009 Golden Globes were no exception. Arriving at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills on January 11, B and her man made a spectacular appearance on the red carpet. Beyoncé dazzled in a seductive sequined strapless white gown by Elie Saab (try CoutureCandy’s more casual white frocks like Gold Hawk’s Mini Sequin Dress in White or Shumaq’s sophisticated Fiona Dress in White). I love the elegant-yet-racy look created by the high slit and short train, but I can’t help but wish the dress was just a half size larger – it looks like her buxom boobies are about to pop! Wearing a breathtaking diamond collar necklace with matching stud earrings by Lorraine Schwartz (nab the elegant look with faux diamonds like Rachel Leigh’s Estelle Stud Earrings in Silver and CC Skye’s elegant Pave Stud Bracelet in Silver), B swept her hair back in a sleek ponytail (possibly a wig?) and wore neutral satin heels to complete her look. Love the edgy dark nail polish complementing the dramatic eyes – a nice contrast to the creamy white gown. What do you think of B’s busty look? In other B news, Beyoncé started the year off right with an incredibly generous gesture: donating her entire salary from Cadillac Records to the Phoenix House, the rehab center where she trained for her role as songstress-turned-heroin addict Etta James. The Phoenix House operates addiction treatment facilities in nine states, including B’s home state of Texas as well as California, Florida and New York. The official amount of her salary is undisclosed, but some reports go as high as $4 million! Britain’s The Daily Star is reporting a source close to the star revealed: “Her incredibly generous gesture to Phoenix House comes as no big surprise to those close to her. Without fanfare or publicity of any kind she has quietly given away millions to causes that move her… Beyoncé has acted, like she always does, from the heart and if she’s helped save even one life over Christmas she’ll consider every last cent well spent.” B’s selfless act literally leaves me speechless, proving that the philanthropy award she received in October was definitely well deserved! Overtsyled and overdone...as usual. The necklace with the dress and the slit..its all just to much. Her boobs look like there in pain.
I don't think she's too big (just bigger than I would personally like to be) but if you are a little curvy like Beyonce, you have to watch what you wear.
