Ashley Olsen was photographed out and about in NYC on April 7, toting along her absolutely a-freakin-dorable French bulldog during her day's errands. For her casual spring outfit, Ashley started with a pair of classic Levi's cut off shorts (similar to Frankie B.'s Jewel Icon Short in Bird) along with a white silk button down shirt (try Splendid's Silky Shirt in White) and a pair of standard oversized black sunglasses. Olsen accessorized with a pair of flat black sandals (I love the slight gladiator influence of Farylrobin's Wilson in Black) and a medium size tote (check out the studded detail of Danielle Nicole's Sahara Studded Messenger in Black). I love it when we get a chance to see the Olsen girls dressed super casual and not done up in jewels and furs and OTT chic gowns (now don't get me wrong, I love this too). This makes us realize that they are real girls who enjoy slipping on a pair of broken-in denim shorts as much as the rest of us. For those of you who are fans of Mary-Kate and Ashley's clothing designs, you'll be pleased to hear that the twins are expanding their Elizabeth and James line with denim.
