Eva Longoria revealed freshly chopped locks as she enjoyed a romantic afternoon in Los Angeles with hubby Tony Parker on July 14. Tony picked Eva up from the Desperate Housewives set and whisked her off to lunch, holding hands and smooching occasionally for the paps. Eva wore a demure peach colored dress (Misile’s Amsterdam Dress in Coral is a similar strapless version), casual sandals (like Matiko’s Juju Sandal in White) and sophisticated aviator shades (JeeVice’s Crybaby II in White has the same edgy shape). Though her huge green tote is bigger than she is, the color contrast adds a nice twist to Eva’s casual ensemble (Carla Mancini’s Braided Handle Bag in Green has a similar eye catching shade). The happy couple was seen strolling around Los Angeles, glowing from their recent anniversary trip to Italy. It’s no secret that the Parkers have been trying for a baby, especially after Eva’s “I want a whole basketball team” comment a few months ago. Nevertheless, Eva has denied her recent weight gain is due to pregnancy, but is actually for her Desperate Housewives role, now in its fifth season. Apparently the new 'do is also for the show, Eva’s rep explained: "She's making herself look like that as her character has let herself go. Gabrielle has gained weight and cut her hair. She's a worn out mother with two kids." Rumor has it, the Desperate Housewives execs actually banned Eva from getting pregnant this year because it would mess up the show’s plot. Setting the record straight, Eva said, “We’re so happy if we get pregnant, and if we don’t we’re okay. We’re just letting God decide it.” If her prayers are answered, Eva will be the next celebrity mom on the block, and I can’t wait to see the cuties she and Tony will produce.
