Kim Kardashian was caught by photographers while dropping off her Bentley for its service in Beverly Hills on July 20, rocking a casual and vibrant summer look for her day of errands in BH. To get Kim K's look, start with a brightly patterned mini dress, like T-Bags' Bubble Dress in Flower Power, or one of Single Dress' trippy options, like the Kneelength Tie-Front Dress in Turquoise Multi or the Shirred Bra Top in Mango Multi, under a functional yet easy coat, like Walter's Structured Trench Coat in Khaki. Next up, Kim slung a huge black hobo bag (similar to Julie K Handbags' Jen Shoulder Bag in Black) over her shoulder, and finished up her look by accessorizing with a gold cuff (try Jessica Elliot's Open Clover Cuff in Vermeil), oversized shades, and flat, gladiator slash cage-esque sandals. What is your overall impression of Kim's look here, do you think she's making it work, or is there just too much going on? As I'm sure you already know, Kim is dating NFL player Reggie Bush, but what you may not know is that Kim has had to endure a lot of negativity due to the fact that she and Reggie are an interracial couple, as he is African American and she is mixed with Armenian, Dutch, and Scottish. She says, "“I don’t understand it because I was raised to not see color. But you’re still faced with it." When Kim set out to visit Africa earlier this month on a charity mission to take a tour of diamond mines with Russell Simmon’s Global Grind, she was quite shocked to feel like she "didn't belong." Of her trip, she says, "All the comments were, ‘How dare she go to Africa,’ and it’s just like, you know what, I can’t believe that charity work is being judged, and I can’t believe people would even comment on that and I think it’s really disgusting. At the end of the day, you just have to brush them off, you have no choice. I hope by the time Reggie and I have kids, things will be different." Here here, Kim!
