END OF SUMMER STYLE

Embracing her summer style, Jessica Alba heads to the salon in a casual nautical toned look in Beverly Hills on August 4. Jess reportedly spent over 3 hours inside, but emerged with her hair messily straightened – maybe she was just indulging in a few spa treatments? Jess put together her beach appropriate look with a striped navy and white tee (like Rachel Pally's Zuma Stripe Top in Midnight/White) with cropped trousers (try Joe's Jeans' lightweight Pleated Crop in Pebble) and fun cherry embellished sandals (add some color with Gwyneth Shoes' Aggie T Strap Sandal in Coral). Jess covered up in big black shades, carrying a tan and ivory tote (like Carla Mancini's leather trimmed Front Flapped Pocket Bag in White) and an eco-friendly reusable beverage cup. What are you thoughts on Jessica's breezy summer look, would you wear it or is it too preppy for your taste? As I write this post I'm sipping iced coffee from the same cold bev cup Jess has – and I'll admit I'm currently more obsessed with this travel cup than any other accessory in my closet! The best thing about it is that when I knocked it over on my laptop last week, not a drop spilled, which is an amazing quality that I'm sure a mother of a toddler like Jess can appreciate. At least she's staying hydrated on what proved to be a warm day in LA, compared to the unseasonably cold weather we've been experiencing. With heat waves occurring around the world, many of the lucky ones are jetting off on last minute summer vacations to beat the heat, like Jess and Cash enjoyed in France over the past few weeks.
