EMMY'S HEALTH TIPS

The beautiful Emmy Rossum made an appearance on the red carpet of the opening night of the new Broadway play "Red" that was held at the Golden Theatre in NYC on April 1, striking a few cute poses as the photographers snapped away. For her opening night look, she paired a black and white patterned dress (for two dresses here on CoutureCandy with unique patterns, take a look at Eva Franco's Felicity Dress in Venice Floral and Gold Hawk's Sleeveless Stained Glass Dress in Madagascar) with a questionable pair of black and white heels, and accessorized with a black watch (like TKO Orlogi's Ceramix Ice Watch in Black/Silver) and a decorative silver cuff (check out Lois Hill's Large Tapered Cuff in Silver). Emmy kept her makeup fresh and pretty, with a rosy cheek and berry lip. I really like this look (including her hair and makeup) from the ankles up, I just can't get past those shoes. Not a fan! What do you think, readers? Am I being too hard on her footwear choice? While there's no denying ER's natural beauty, she is speaking out about how she keeps her flawless figure. Her answer isn't really a surprise, as it's pretty much what every actress/model tends to say. But let's take a listen anyways! Says Emmy, "Try to sleep a lot. I know everyone says that, but it’s really true. And exercise. It raises your endorphin level and makes you happy. It’s something you can do for yourself to clear your head. Hopefully you’re not looking at your cell phone during your class or when you’re on the treadmill, and you can zone out with your music and relax." I do agree with her on the point about not bringing your cell phone with you when you work out!
