Debuting a daring new 'do, Hayden Panettiere hits the red carpet at a special Earth Day screening of Avatar at the Nokia Theatre in downtown Los Angeles on April 22. HP stepped out with her boxing boyfriend Wladimir Klitschko at her side, dispelling rumors the smitten new couple split over the weekend. Hayden is a well known friend of the earth (don't forget the dolphins!) so it's no surprise she got all dolled up for the Earth Day charity event produced by Words That Shook The World. In this shot Hayden's gazing up to say hello, but this time not to her 7 foot tall boyfriend – the Na'vi creatures were out in full force on the red carpet! I'm still in awe of HP's dazzling new 'do, trading in her recent auburn extensions for cropped, slicked back tresses. I don't know if this is a look she can pull off every day, but it looks great with her short and sassy Emilio Pucci frock (if you love the lacy look try Gold Hawk's Poncho with Lace in Black or the Sleeveless Embroidered Drape Dress in Black). Hayden kept the uber short hem classy with noir stockings and black satin pumps to match (love the knot details on Gwyneth Shoes' Paulette in Black), carrying a shiny black box clutch (love Whiting & Davis' Crystal Accents Minaudiere in Black) and painting her nails a matching tar shade. HP seems to be joining a long list of celebs who have chopped of their locks lately as the temps warm up, from Heidi Klum to Entourage star Adrian Grenier.
