Duff dishes on new character
Hilary Duff hit up TRL in NYC on April 29 to promote her new film, War, Inc., which John Cusack wrote, produced and stars in. Hilary looked radiant and adorable as always, seeming to be freshly bronzed and sporting bountiful waves for her TRL appearance. To get an outfit like Hil's, start with a flirty silk top, like Black Halo's Shirred Halter Top in Red and pair with black denim short shorts (similar to Tag Jeans' Buttoned Roll-Short in Black with Gold Stitching. Accessory wise, Hilary was all about statement pieces, as she paired sparkling hoops (if you're feeling decadent, nab Lana Jewelry's Diamond Luck N Love Earrings in Rose, White and Yellow Gold) with a big cuff and silver ring (reminiscent of Femme Metale Jewelry's Koi Ring in Sterling Silver). Duff spoke out at TRL about her character, Yonica, in the upcoming film, saying what a challenge it was to play a character like her. Duff says, "It was such a trip for me to do this character because it was so different from who I am and even the way I looked in it– she has an accent, she’s Eastern European, she’s a little oversexed, super young, she doesn’t know what she’s doing. And the way she dresses is really cheesy and out of control. It was fun for me to do something so different from who I am." I wonder if Hil will be convincing in this roll, it sounds like it would have been perfect for La Lohan- oversexed, super young and out of control... ideal!

its weird because in the photo on the left she looks slim but in the photo on the right she looks fat....
She's is so gorgeous but she is getting a little chubby. And in advance to people who are gonna get pissed because you're a fan... I'm a fan too and I love her but she's looking a little like she did in Lizzie McGuire with the blonde hair and weight gain.
I think she looks best with darker hair and when she's slimmer and toned.
She's still gorgeous though! I don't like the outfit.
yes, all of you attacking her because of her her "weight gain"...she did get "chubby" but i think she's glowing!!!! her face is more filled and she looks more vibrant so i hope she stays this way and doesn't go back to her skeletol look.
what is wrong with all you people... THAT is NOT Chubby!! She's short so if she gains 5 pounds it shows right away. She looks great... you don't have to be anorexic to be pretty....I wonder how all of you look and how you would like it if people sat and judged you!
She looks so pretty but she has gained a little weight. I don't think anyone wants her super-skinny again but I think she looked her best last year.

I agree with 1:08 loosing that much weight would make her anorexic. Opinions are fine and yes everyone has them. It's one thing to blog about hair, outfits, shoes etc... but unless your perfect don't judge others because they gain a few pounds... Hil still looks great and I'm sure she looks a hell of a lot better than 12:40!!
She looks perfect to me! She was very thin and sick looking at her thinnest. 10-15 pounds? 5-7 pounds? absolutely not! No wonder so many young girls have eating disorders! She is thinner than most average girls who would be considered normal and relatively thin. You people are ridiculous!
