Showing off her new handbag line and brand new platinum extensions, Hayden Panettiere jetted off to Las Vegas on Nov 22 to pose for the press at the Dooney & Bourke store inside the Venetian Hotel. Wearing a sexy cerulean mini dress with playful balloon sleeves (if you love the hue, try Karina Grimaldi’s Zuna Silk Mini Dress in Royal Blue or Smitten’s A-line Turtleneck Dress in Blueberry), HP certainly looked like a grown-up, even if the only thing she can do legally in Sin City is shop… and I’m sure she headed right over to the Forum shops as soon as her photo shoot ceased to get her mind off all the boozing and gambling she can’t participate in! Adding a striking pair of sky-high patent YSLs, her favorite swirl cuff (just like Michele Michel’s Swirl Bracelet in Silver), and a dainty knot bracelet (try Rachel Leigh’s Capsule Bangle in Gold), the new look and new ‘do are definitely refreshing. Though most celebs opt to simply put their name on a product, Hayden was hands-on involved in the production of her handbag line, appropriately named the Hayden clutch. Though she played a role in everything from the leather selection to the colors available, HP decided to add her personal touch with the 24k gold lion’s head closure – signifying both her Leo astrology and the characteristic vanity that goes hand-in-hand with the sign, of course. Another positive attribute: these cute little bags retail at just under $300 a pop, making them much more affordable than your average celebrity offshoot.
