DISHING ON BOYS AND MUSIC

Taylor Momsen AKA Little J was spotted heading onto the "Gossip Girl" set (escorted by a burly bodyguard, natch) earlier today, August 17, in Brooklyn, looking a bit listless as she flashed a subtle (or maybe not-so-subtle?) message for the paparazzi in the photo on the left. Do you see what I see? For her outfit, the "GG" costumers put together a purple look for Little J, starting with a flowy violet frock (check out Single Dress' Long Sleeve Tie Neck Tunic Dress in Fuchsia or Amberlynn's Midnight Maiden Dress in Plum) that was then paired with cage-like heels and a classic pair of Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses. An ample amount of jewelry was then added, such as a pearl necklace (like Kuo Ting Jewelry's Freshwater Pearls Necklace in Gold) over an edgier, more eccentric necklace (I love Castaway Jewelry's Pyrite and African Glass Bead Necklace in Brass), finishing up with a handful of bangles (try Ettika's Braided Leather Wrap Bracelet with Charms in Turquoise and Accessories & Beyond's Button Leather Gold Plated Bracelet). Do you like the look that TM is rocking here, or is she not pulling it off? I know that my readers are always love-it or hate-it with T. Tay recently sat down with "Access Hollywood" and dished on topics such as dating and rock and roll. When it comes to the dating world, Taylor says, "I would eat a boy my age alive. I’ve had lots of relationships. Boys are so much less mature than girls as it is. There’s just no way." But is there a possibility that Taylor would leave the world of acting forever to pursue her career as a rockstar? "It would be crazy to cut it out completely. And I love being on the show — I hope it goes on for a couple more years. But as for the future, I don’t know. I’m at a point now where I’m not doing anything just for money or fame," she says. At least she was able to fine-tune her look in accordance to her rocker spirit, as she says, "I had long, pretty hair, and it didn’t fit me. I’m pretty, but I’m not, like, a ‘pretty girl.’ So I pulled up a bunch of photos of Joan Jett and said, ‘Do that to my hair.’ I decided to start being myself. Now I do my own makeup, my own hair, and dress myself, and it feels better." I'm all for being yourself and being authentic, but I must ask the question - do you like Taylor's hair and makeup when she does it herself? It's a little heavy on the raccoon eyes, normally!
