DISHING ABOUT "THE CITY"

Olivia Palermo was back to her polished best - after an uncharacteristically casual sighting while filming "The City" on June 16 - as she attended the opening of The Ferrari Store in NYC on June 23. For her summertime soiree ensemble, Olivia started with a pair of classic black shorts (try Walter's Sandwashed Short in Black) and a white button-down blouse (like Splendid's Silky Shirt in White), and then worked in her favorite Mulberry Neely Messenger Bag (get the look with Zambos & Siega's Mansfield Bag in Stone) and a pair of black stilettos. A crimson manicure and a pair of diamond studs (check out Jacquie Aiche's Herkimer Stud Earring in Gold) completed OP's look. What are your thoughts, readers - are you impressed with Olivia's look here? When Olivia was recently in London for Fashion Week, she spoke to several press outlets about the show that she stars in on MTV, "The City," giving her take on how "real" the show is. Says Olivia, "You know, it's a reality show and there's an entertainment value to it, so my job is to entertain the audience." Hmmm, is Olivia insinuating that she's not that much of a spoiled princess in real life and only acts that way when the cameras are rolling? Not sure if I buy it - the diva behavior seems to come way too easily to her!
