Blake Lively was spotted at Us Weekly's Hot in Hollywood Issue Celebration Event last night, October 21, in NYC, workin' the casual thumb-in-pocket pose for photographers. To get Blake's casual yet polished look, start with a striped button-up (like 3J Workshop's Jackson Shirt in As Shown) under a black menswear vest (similar to Gold Hawk's Men's Vest in Solid Black) and with black skinnies (Desert Blue's Bullhorn Jean in Black are similar). Accessory wise, Blake wasn't seen holding a handbag, and instead opted for a clover necklace (similar to Jessica Elliot's Wrought Iron Clover Necklace in Silver) with multiple bangles, and maroon-hued Christian Louboutin booties. J'adore her tousled, wavy hairstyle, too! While word spread fairly quickly that Blake's father was involved in a car accident on October 13, it seems that Mr. Lively is on his way to recovery. When Blake first heard the news, she hopped on a plane home to be with him, seeing as thought the two are so close. A source said, "They are as close as any father and daughter could be— she was beside herself when she got this horrible news. Her dad taught her everything." The source continues, though, "He’s doing much better. His wife Elaine just called to say they’ve moved him to a regular room." Let's all wish him a fast recovery!

This outfit looks a bit like a school teacher, and the shoes don't fit! Agree with 3:38, she looks a bit bigger...but I like it! And the face and hair are gorgeous, beautifull and healthy, radiant! No need to be thinner, just different clothes will do.guest on Oct 23 2008 @ 05:37 AM
