Looking happy to have a night out with her husband, Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z chowed down for date night at Mr. Chow in London on June 8. The power couple stopped in the UK on the way back to the US after spending a few days in Paris for the French Open. For those of you who haven't been loving Bey's style lately, I think she's definitely redeeming herself here in this short and sassy look. Beyonce started with a gorgeous sheer Valentino embroidered tee (get glitzy in LaROK's Beaded Tank in Black) with charcoal trouser shorts (put a spin on the classic look with Boulee's Studded Short in Black) and a light grey Nicole Miller blazer that is the perfect summer layering piece (check out Free People's Light Weight Blazer in Olive). Bey carried a casual messenger style bag over her shoulder with an elaborately embellished strap (love Julie K's elegantly flashy Renee in Silver), adding a few beaded bracelets and taupe booties to complete the look. What are your thoughts on Beyonce's style here? I'm loving the more natural looking curls after she returned to almost platinum waves for a few weeks, and although I know fun nail art is her thing the turquoise nail polish makes her long nails look almost claw-like. Are any of you thinking the same looking at this? Although the rumors of a Destiny's Child reunion were decisively squashed by Bey's manager-dad, Matthew Knowles, former DC songstress Kelly Rowland recently spoke up about the potential reunion in an interview: "Well Matthew Knowles is not a member of Destiny's child so with all due respect that's not a decision he can make – that's up to myself, Beyonce and Michelle." Interesting! Do you think this means there's a chance the girls will still get back together? I smell drama!

The shirt and blazer are gorgeous, think they would look great with a skirt just a wee bit longer than those shorts - longer than the jacket.guest on Jun 20 2010 @ 08:15 PM
