Making a stunning statement in her glistening party dress, Beyoncé Knowles made her way from a swanky cocktail soiree to a romantic dinner with her hubby Jay-Z in NYC on Oct 22, pausing to smile for the paps outside as the dynamic duo were escorted by their horde of bodyguards from one gathering to the next. Wearing a classy, eye-catching emerald green dress (try Shumaq’s Penelope Dress in Green) with a ruffled black overcoat (like Shumaq’s Corinne Coat in Black) and stellar gold peeptoe heels, B looked every bit the glamorous fashionista she is. Adding chunky multicolored earrings (tone it down with Kuo Ting’s elegant Hammered Tear Drop Earrings with Emeralds in Gold) and a matching jewel encrusted bracelet (try Danielle Stevens’ Pearl Bracelet with Emerald Gem in Gold and add Rachel Leigh’s Snake Ring in Green for extra dramatic effect) as the finishing touch, B carried a black leather tote with ring handles and polished off her look with a half up ‘do showing off her sleek straightened locks. Though she was born in Houston, B recently spoke out about her love for the city she shares with her hubby and has come to consider home: “I am [a New Yorker] now. When I first came here, people weren't friendly and I didn't know where to go. Now I love it. I enjoy access to foods I never had before, like Cuban or Indian. I love how multicultural it is. You walk down the street and see so many different races. It's normal here and abnormal to be closed-minded. That's beautiful.” Enough said!
