Christina Aguilera makes the most of the maxi skirt trend as she arrives at the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA with hubby Jordan Bratman on September 4. The smokin' songstress stepped out of her brand new cherry red Ferrari sporting a laidback look, starting with a flowy maxi skirt and graphic tee with hot pink writing (maximize the trend by layering a top over your favorite maxi dress, like Woo's Ally Maxi Dress in Black with Bejeweled's In Love With Life Tank in White) and comfy flip-flops (Gwyneth Shoes' Briee Strap Sandal in Black are one of my fav summer picks). Christina topped off her look with a camel fedora and oversized sunnies, keeping a low profile despite the loud ride. While gearing up for Burlesque press to come this fall, Christina is featured in the October issue of Cosmopolitan UK, where she shared her secrets for keeping things interesting with her husband of five years: "I leave little lipstick marks on the bathroom mirror for when he wakes up, and little notes written in lipstick on the mirror and in the shower.
