COZYING UP TO THE DEVIL AT FASHION WEEK

Checking out fashion's finest for the upcoming Spring season, Rachel McAdams was spotted catching a few runway shows this week in NYC. On September 12 she attended the Altuzarra show at Milk Studios, arriving in a loose black top tucked into a black and white bandage skirt from the Boy by Band of Outsiders Spring 2010 collection and charcoal heeled brogues (try Zoa's Big Boyfriend T Shirt in Black with Nanette Lepore's West Indies Stripe Skirt in Black/White). The look is nothing to call home about, very polished and chic for the show, but I'm not feeling the messy hair. At the show Rachel paused for a snapshot with pal Leighton Meester, who wore a stunning plum Emilio de la Morena dress with silk accents (check out AmberLynn's Midnight Maiden Dress in Plum) paired with purple Proenza Schouler lace-up ankle boots. Their choice of footwear is similar but I can see the trademark red Loub soles poking out on Rach's – does anyone know if CL makes these? Later in the week on September 16 Rachel attended the Proenza Schouler Spring 2010 show, arriving in a shirred blue sheath dress with a cowl neck and bronze snaps lining the left side (nab the bright shade with Morphine Generation's Drapey Dress in Electric Blue). She must have gotten the hint about the lackluster locks, showing off a new blonde infused 'do with whispy bangs and voluminous curls. A turquoise belt and caramel peeptoe Loubs complete her 'fit – what do you think of the cornflower blue shade with her complexion? She's worn the shade before and I don't know what could be more flattering against her porcelain skin. Rach sat next to Anna at both the Alexander Wang show and at Proenza Schouler, raising the suggestion Rachel might be tapped for an upcoming Vogue spread or possibly even a cover? Oooh, I'm intrigued, are any of you?
