Putting on a somber face, Christina Aguilera makes her way out of the Beverly Wilshire Hotel with a gal pal at her side in Los Angeles on October 7. Christina headed to a meeting in a business minded sheer blouse with long sleeve ties (like Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent's Long Sleeve Button Front Blouse in Black/Grey or try a trendy dot print like Nanette Lepore's Polka Dot Top in Black/Cream) over a black tank and leggings (try Corson's super flattering Interlock Legging in Black). Christina paired the look with plain black pumps (this fall trade in your basics for a fun bootie like Farylrobin's Beth Ankle Boot in Black) with a pebbled black hobo in her hand (check out Danielle Nicole's Studded Kristi in Black), accessorizing with silver hoop earrings (try Anna Beck's Bali Silver Double Hoops in Silver) and black oversized sunnies. As always she couldn't leave the house without a perky red pout! What do you think of Christina's business casual attire, would you wear this to a meeting? I think the leggings and loud lipstick is getting old for her, but given her current situation I can't blame her for falling back on her comfort style. As you've probably heard by now, it was leaked earlier this week that Christina and her husband of five years have been separated for a month and are now living apart. A source told Us Weekly: “They were very much in love. But over the last six months, it became clear they were more like friends than husband and wife.” Christina herself confirmed the news in a statement to People later in the week: "Although Jordan and I are separated, our commitment to our son Max remains as strong as ever." My heart goes out to her, but I guess this is proof for all of you who always commented that Christina looks unhappy whenever she and Jordan were spotted out on date nights together. Hope she's doing okay!
