COOKING IN LOUBOUTINS

Blake Lively was spotted in Central Park on set of her hit show "Gossip Girl" in NYC earlier today, October 5, looking extra leggy as the show's costume designer slipped a pair of patterned tights in a deep wine hue on Blake, completely elongating her gams. In addition to the tights, Blake's look consisted of a fitted olive green dress with a loose cowl neck (for a similar silhouette in a more vibrant shade, try Lotta Stensson's Cowl Halter Dress in Peacock) under a long black coat with chunky silver buttons (check out Suzabelle's Nicolet Trench Coat in Black) and a hairstyle that was very similar to what Blake rocked at the Emmy Awards back on September 20 - a slicked back in the front with a messy, loose high pony. Blake finished her look with a heavy metal chain necklace (I would suggest playfully mixing Kimberly Faith's 48" Patchwork Necklace in Gold and Silver with Marcia Moran's Linked Necklace in Gold Plated for a funky, punky pairing) and a burnished bronze bag (get the look with Donald J Pliner's Ivah Tote in Bronze - love the little peace sign charm that's attached BTW). What are your thoughts on Blake's - well, actually, "GG"'s costume designer's - look overall? Are you diggin' the look as a whole? Lively recently sat down with Esquire Magazine to discuss, among other things, her love of cooking, Louboutins, and cute aprons. Says B, "I love to cook. Everything. Homemade ice cream, soups. I just bought ingredients to make a key-lime mascarpone tart with a pistachio crust." If you're mouth isn't already watering, she continues: "I cook in Louboutins. I just think it's very attractive when people cook. So I don't wear sweatpants. When you dress sexy to cook, too, it's like, damn, I got a girl who can cook and look like that? And I always have really cute aprons." Talk about every man's fantasy!
