CONTROL FREAK?

Looking a little pouty while getting some serious shopping done a few days before Christmas, Christina Aguilera was spotted taking to the streets in Beverly Hills on December 21 with her hubby Jordan Bratman in tow. The duo stopped for a few Starbucks holiday bevs before hitting Barney’s and heading home with a handful of shopping bags – carried by Mamaguilera’s doting husband, of course. Dressed in a very wintry (bordering on lumberjack) ‘fit, Christina layered up with a plaid button down tunic (tone it down with Zoa’s Long Cotton Shirt with Pleating in Black), a comfy puffed up vest (try Rails’ Dilyn Vest in Black), and her second skin leggings that she never seems to be without (to add some color to the ‘fit above, try Desert Blue’s Phoenix Skinny Jean in Ruby). Not straying from the rocker look, Mamaguilera paired her black nail polish with black flat motorcycle boots, a very round pair of red oversized sunnies, and a strappy black leather tote over her arm (check out Rough Roses’ Whitney Tote in Black). I know the plaid look is hot right now, but how do you feel about Mamaguilera’s rendition of it? I don’t know about you, but those ever shrinking bangs stand out to me more than the vivid red print and the neon yellow trim of her tunic. Seriously, they are looking so painfully short and brittle, do any of you think this is even remotely a good look for her? Maybe her feeble attempts to control her bangs are just an unfortunate side effect of Christina’s self-professed controlling personality. Mamaguilera recently spoke to The Observer Magazine about her past and present: “I was raised in a very chaotic environment… Nothing was ever quite stable or secure for me. So that might definitely have something to do with liking things done in order, in control and my way. I’m a huge organization freak. Everything is labeled and specified and there’s a place for it.” Maybe that explains the scowl on her face while shopping – who moved her cheese?

Ewwww! This is horrible. Bad boots, horrific shirt, bad vest, bag hair, bad body, bad makeup. Just bad.
