Ashlee Simpson goes about her business in Beverly Hill on March 26, sporting a fashion forward pair of clogs while out running errands. As popular as Chanel might be trying to make this trend, I didn't love it on Rachel Bilson and I'm still not sold with these on Ash. What are your thoughts readers, have you been rockin' clogs this spring? In light of her attention grabbing footwear, Ashlee kept her 'fit simple with a loose white v-neck (like Joe's Jeans' Blake Crinkle V Tee in White) and slimming black skinnies (Ella Moss' Ponte Leggings in Black are my fav staple). Ash added a black messenger tote (like Linea Pelle's Dylan Messenger in Black) and a long silver necklace (keep it simple with Jessica Elliot's Large Sterling Antique Skeleton Key Necklace in Silver), polishing the look with an enameled bracelet (love the color mixing on Moss Mills' Peyton Preppie Bracelet in Gold). For a black and white look I think Ash nailed the casual, slightly edgy vibe, but what are your thoughts? On Friday Ashlee ran a few errands in BH before heading downtown to the Staples Center for a night out at Jay-Z's concert with hubby Pete Wentz. While the hot couple was just one of the many celebs in attendance, they were the only ones to get an onstage shout-out from the iconic rapper himself: "Pete Wentz, I see you. Ash, I see you. Hope I didn't embarrass you." They must have really been rocking out to get noticed over Chris Rock, Justin Beiber and Paris Hilton seated nearby!
