Since LA has been unseasonably warm the past few days, Ciara opted for a pair of distressed cut off shorts (take your pick between Tag Jeans' Lima Cut Off Short in Canyon or Work Custom Jeans' Beatnik Short in Medium Riviera) with a slouchy oversized t-shirt (like Bobi's Slub Tee in White), and then wore a pair of tough motorcycle boots. Accessory wise, C toted a black bag (like Jalda's Fabric Masha in Black) and then loaded up on beaded bracelets on her right wrist. Are you into Ciara's look here, readers? It seems like C has been having tons of fun lately, as after she got her salon fix she headed out for a girls' night on the town. Ciara was seen having a girls dinner at STK in LA last night, and was joined by her gaggle of famous friends including Kim Kardashian, Kelly Rowland, Serena Williams, Lala Vazquez and Brittny Gastineau. Making jaws drop and camera flashes go wild at the Black Eyed Peas 7th Annual Peapod Benefit Concert in Hollywood on February 10, Ciara proved that she's a firm believer in the old adage "if you've got it, flaunt it." Rocking an Emilio Pucci Spring 2011 chocolate colored dress that showed off her toned figure, the sexy songstress pretty much proved that she's fearless when it comes to red carpet appearances. While there are very few bodies that could pull of this risky dress, you've gotta give the girl credit where credit is due. Her body looks insane! While I'm sure this is going to be a pretty polarizing look (some of you will love it, others will despise it), I think Ciara is definitely walking the line between sexy and sleazy but keeps this look from heading into trashy territory. R&B songstress Ciara was photographed looking totally adorable last night, December 8, at the VEVO Launches Premiere Destination for Premium Music Video Event in NYC, an online video and music service that is a collaboration between Google and Universal Music Group. Sounds interesting! For her look, Ciara started with a skin-tight gold metallic mini dress (try Gold Hawk's more subdued Mini Sequin Dress in Pale Yellow) that she paired with a pair of over-the-knee, firetruck red Christian Louboutin boots adorned with small circular studs and a wrist piled high with various gold and silver bangles (mix and match with Alex and Ani's Set of 7 Signature Expandable Wire Bangles in Gold, Femme Metale Jewelry's Royal Crest Bracelet in Sterling Silver, and Amrita Singh's Emma Bangle Set in Multi). R&B singer Ciara was spotted indulging in some retail therapy in LA on Saturday, waving to the paps as she left a shopping spree at the Yves Saint Laurent store. For her outfit, Ciara tackled the controversial denim-on-denim look, going about it in very 2009 way, however. She paired a cropped, light-wash Levi's vest (Mike & Chris' Ronner Vest in Slate offers a bit more coverage) with a darker pair of skinny jeans (try Earnest Sewn's Harlan Jean in One Rinse) - I think if you're going to try and attempt a d-on-d look, it's best to pair really dark (even black) denim with a vintage-y, faded, light wash. Seems to be all the rage with celebs lately! For the rest of her outfit, she threw on a white cami (like Zoa's Logo Cami in White) that she scrunched up to reveal her taut tummy, a pair of vibrant yellow Christian Louboutin heels, a matching yellow watch, and a gold necklace (similar to Lisa K Designs' Lace Cake Necklace in Gold/Purple). Do you think C's making this denim-on-denim look work, everyone? Or are you not a fan of double denim in general? While Ciara had a brief affair with a boyish, cropped hairstyle, it seems as though the singer has indeed reverted back to to having long hair, and has put the extensions back in. It may have just been me, but I thought that Ciara's cropped cut (unlike Rihanna's sometime ridiculous hairstyles of late) really flattered here - I wish she would have left it short for a bit longer!
