CHRISTIAN'S MUSE

There's been quite a fashion frenzy in New York over the past week, and Alexis Bledel sparked the fire with Project Runway's infamously "fierce" star Christian Siriano at her side. Alexis attended the unveiling of Saks Fifth Avenue's new third floor shopping area in NYC on September 9, wearing a gorgeous sneak peek at Christian Siriano's Spring 2010 collection. AB arrived in a metallic croc textured skirt and draped asymmetrical charmeuse blouse in a gorgeous nude shade (to create the look try tucking in a silk tank like Black Halo's Tie Front One Shoulder Blouse in Grape with a textured skirt like Walter's Stretch Liquid Pleat Skirt in Black, or stick to the nude palette with Morphine Generation's Alex Party Dress in Tan). Rather than go neutral with her accessories, Alexis carried a shiny Christian Dior box clutch (shine on with GoldenBleu's Charley Clutch in Black) and paired cherry red Dior pumps with the 'fit, topping it off with red nails and a crimson pout. Love the colors and the combination of silky smooth and course croc textures – perfection. The red heels might be a little Minnie Mouse but I'm hooked on the dramatic burst of color. I only wish she'd done something more glamorous with her hair – still pulled back to show off the neckline, but a part or twist to the side would have made for a more interesting look.
