Looking youthful as ever, Kristen Bell struts the red carpet at the 2010 Teen Choice Awards in Universal City, CA on August 8. KB looks pretty and polished in her red embroidered Stella McCartney mini with a sheer coral overlay (add a little bit of color with Luc by Lucy's Cut Out Bella Dress in Coral or Gold Hawk's vibrant gold embellished India Boho Dress in Hot Pink), choosing a pair of classy taupe Brian Atwood peeptoes to complete the look (if you're looking for a neutral shoe to accent a fun frock like this, try Coye Nokes' Joan Bootie in Sabbia Embossed Python or Coye Nokes' sleek Jacqueline Pump in Taupe Patent). KB kept her makeup natural and pulled her blonde waves back into a messy pony to complete the look. What do you think of Kristen's casually refined style, does it work for her, and for the event? KB usually plays it pretty safe on the red carpet, but she was recently featured in a WWD spread where she dwelled on her defining style attributes: "I tend to favor things that make me feel like I'm playing a character. I gravitate toward vintage styles—equestrian, nautical. I've been loving a blue-and-white-striped long-sleeve T-shirt since I was in high school because it makes me feel like Brigitte Bardot sunbathing on the French Riviera… I like clothes that make me feel feminine as opposed to girly. If there's one too many ruffles or a little too much pink, I will look like I'm going to my own christening." It seems as though she knows her style well! How would you define your tastes?
