BUBBLEGUM AT BARNEY'S

Taking her growing little boy out for some new duds, Christina Aguilera and hubby Jordan Bratman headed to Barney's in Beverly Hills on October 17 for a little family retail therapy. I don't think Christina's style has been anything to talk about lately, but this is particularly drab – she's drowning in an oversized sky blue tee (get the loose look with Zoa's Unbalanced Tunic in Grey or brighten up in a similar blue shade like Splendid's 3/4 Sleeve V Neck Top in Pool) with ash skinny jeans (7 For All Mankind's Roxanne Sunray Pocket in Portland are super comfy) and black ballet flats (make this style stand out with fun flats like Elaine Turner's Liz in Graphic Haircalf in Black Graphic). Yawn. It's pretty cute that she and Max are sporting matching blue hues, but the black fedora and silver pendant necklace (Citrine by the Stone's Free Dome Pendant in Gold has a more elegant vibe) don't add a lot of oomph to this 'fit. What do you readers think? Also probably not a smart idea to stick out your bubblegum like that while carrying a squirming toddler – I'm sure we've all had horrific gum-in-hair experiences and this one looks like it's seconds away! While Christina often talks about how much she loves mommyhood, she also admits she has staff on hand to look after Max and take care of her house, not to mention dinner. She recently told the press: “I don’t have time to cook. My mom is a yummy cook and I love the idea of my son craving home cooked food… When he gets older I will make time. I want to learn how to cook really yummy things.” We'll see if she actually follows through – maybe we'll get some leftovers!
