BRINGING GREEN TO NYC

Looking a little jetlagged while returning to New York City on May 28, Cameron Diaz stepped out of a black hybrid SUV as she headed back to her new Big Apple pad. Nice to see Cameron practice what she preaches in this month’s green Vogue, referring to the Prius she’s been driving for years in LA: "It's just a car. It's just a choice people can make." With all the luxury hybrids available now, it’s cool to see a celeb sticking to the basics. Cam also stuck to the basics with this ‘fit, wearing worn in bootcuts (like Hudson’s booty flattering Signature Bootcut Jean in Viva) with a layered black and white cami set (try PGD Style’s basic and affordable Fancy Tank in Black or White) and a cropped black blazer (check out Black Halo’s Cropped Shirred Sleeve Jacket in Black). Adding laced gold sandals, a gold charm necklace (like Erica Anenberg’s adorable “heart and soul” Charm Necklace in Gold) and a mahogany oversized tote (it’s a little smaller, but I love the rich shade of Linea Pelle’s Lola Clutch in Bittersweet), Cameron stays true to her coordinated casual style. What do you think of the look? Before all the press stuff starts for My Sister’s Keeper (out June 26), Cam took a quick vacation to Hawaii, spotted taking a dip in the ocean and representing the green movement in a teeny ruffled bikini on Tuesday. What do you think of her super slim bikini bod? Besides looking gorgeous on the cover of the Vogue “green” issue, Cameron gave a no holds barred interview with Parade magazine this month, sharing some empowering words for all women: “I don’t declare myself as one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood. That’s other people’s label. I don’t think that self-deprecation is healthy for people. I think you should have a healthy relationship with yourself. And so we all have our ‘up’ days and we all have our ‘down’ days. But I’m not going to walk through this world hating myself because somebody else doesn’t think I’m pretty. All I can do is know how I feel about myself.” Something to think about!
