BRINGING GOOD LUCK TO THE GAME

Bringing a little luck to the Lakers, Christina Aguilera strolls out onto the court to sing the National Anthem during game six of the NBA Finals in Los Angeles' Staples Center on June 15. Strutting her stuff in a sexy strapless LBD (just like Lotta Stensson's Shirred Mini Tube Dress in Black or Luc by Lucy's Cut Out Bella Dress in Black), Christina added some fierce Christian Louboutin spotted pumps (love the fun colors of Samanta's KT Heel in Tan Pony) and a few studded cuff bracelets (love Rocco e Dante's Joe Double Cuff in Dark Purple) to complete the look. I'm glad to see she went for such a tame ensemble for the occasion, but what's going on with the slicked back hair? It looks like she just got out of the pool! Christina also belted out the National Anthem at the final game last Thursday, sealing the deal that she's the good luck charm the Lakers needed all along as they won the championship against the Boston Celtics. Were any of you lucky enough to attend either game and hear her sing? If so you might be one of the few to hear Christina's voice at all this summer, after she canceled her Bionic tour claiming she doesn't have enough time to prepare this summer. Christina explained her decision not to move forward with the tour: "I'm such a perfectionist. I'm not doing something unless I give my all. I haven't had time to think about the tour, what with the film...I was going crazy trying to figure out what the set list was and it felt too rushed, too soon. There wasn't enough time to prepare the kind of show I like to put on—which is my very best." If you've ever seen her live you know her shows are worth the wait, but what a bummer!
