Leaving the kiddies alone with the nanny (or nannies?) for a few nights, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt went out for a night on the town in Berlin on January 19. On the eve of Brad’s German premiere of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Angie looked a little worn out as the duo made their way from a private dinner at the Vino e Cucina restaurant to their hotel late in the evening. Wearing a very somber ‘fit, Angelina wore a simple black dress covered with a long burn-out lace coat (try the similar shape of Ingwa Melero’s Velvet Coat with Frog Closure in Black over an elegant dress like Black Halo’s Shawl Collar Sheath Dress or the Trapunto Sheath Dress in Black) and classic knee-high boots. I like the print of the coat but the look is pretty mundane, except for Angie's elegant Cartier tote! The length and size are perfect for a celeb mommy, don’t you think? Angie completed her sophisticated look with an elegant gold bracelet (see Rachel Leigh’s girly Audrey Gold Bangle in Gold) and a dainty ring (spice up your ‘fit with Rachel Leigh’s Nicoli Ring in Gold). The New Year is off to a great start for Angelina, who has enjoyed plenty of success over the last few months for her work in Kung-Fu Panda and Changeling, not to mention her long-term lover’s work in the hilarious Burn After Reading and of course, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. It’s no surprise that last week Angelina received an Oscar nomination for Best Actress for her performance in Changeling. I’m embarrassed to admit I haven’t had a chance to see her in this drama yet – what did you readers think of her? Other nominees include Kate Winslet for The Reader, Anne Hathaway for Rachel Getting Married, Meryl Streep for Doubt and Melissa Leo for Frozen River.
