BOOT OBSESH CONTINUES

Spotted wearing her favorite boots for the past 2 weeks, Christina Aguilera was out and about doing a little holiday shopping at Maxfield's with her little boy Max on December 13, picking up a few doggie treats for their family pooch at Petco in Beverly Hills on December 24. Christina has apparently developed an obsession with these snowboots (if you want a cute and edgy ankle boot, I say go for something like Gwyneth Shoes' Alba Ankle Boot in Black which has a comfortable low heel), wearing them around LA despite the fact that it's been in the 70's, with what looks like the same hat and leggings. I'm not a fan – is there some sort of trend I'm missing here? The first time she wore them on the left, wearing a plaid woven shirt (like Trovata's Woven Shirt in Corsica) over gray skinny leggings (7 For All Mankind's Roxanne Sunray Pocket in Portland have been one of my staples this year) topped with a charcoal tweed hat shielding her face from the paps. On Christmas eve, Christina went for a more casual look, tucking her velour sweatpants into the boots (try Bejewed's luxurious Ryth Invasion Velour Pant in Blue with a gray hoodie and a plaid scarf (opt for Royal Plush's Baby Thermal Hoodie in Gray with A Graves' Sparrow Scarf in Purple). Once again, pairing the red and gray boots with red plaid and gray bottoms. Seeing a pattern here? I don't know if it's necessarily a terrible one, I'm just pointing it out. What do you CoutureCandy readers think of Mamaguilera's style lately?
