Looking super tan while boarding a boat on the Hudson River, Jessica Simpson was in great spirits on June 25 while heading off on a nighttime cruise with her BFF Ken Paves and a few pals. Stepping out in a cute white and turquoise striped dress (similar to Tricia Fix's Christina Chiffon Mini Dress in Ivory Print) with her fav True Religion denim jacket over her arm, Jess pulled her hair back to show off dangling silver medallion earrings (try Femme Metale's Long Open Oval Chain Earrings in Sterling Silver). Adding a sparkly right hand ring and her oversized cognac tote (check out Carla Mancini's Hobo with Front Lock in Tan), Jess skipped over her usual 5" platforms for strappy tan sandals. I love the cute summery look – what do you think of Ms. Simpson's 'fit? Jess is back in NYC this week prepping for her return to reality TV on "The Price of Beauty." VH1's Jeff Olde recently shed more light on the show at a press conf: "She is a woman who can set trends and create firestorms with a single photo... Jessica now gets to take control of that conversation and take a look at the idea of beauty through her own unique, unfiltered lens." She does have a very unique perspective!
