BLAKE'S A

BLAKE'S A "WILD THING"

The beautiful Blake Lively was spotted glamming up the red carpet of the NYC premiere of Where The Wild Things Are, held at Alice Tully Hall on October 13. For her stunning red carpet look, BL chose a Marchesa Spring 2010 feather-adorned mini dress (for a very similar, all black look try Sue Wong's Ostrich Feather Short Dress in Black, which features a delicately ruched bust, an intricately beaded trim and an ostrich feather skirt) with simple nude patent leather pumps and a silver cocktail ring (I love the turquoise accent of Femme Metale Jewelry's Eva Turquoise Ring). Lively completed her look with glamorous waves and a shimmering peach lip. What are your thoughts of Blake's look, readers - do you think she knocked this Marchesa frock out of the park? I think she owned this look, as the silhouette of the dress perfectly complimented Blake's svelte figure. And as if her legs don't already seem to go on for miles, those nude heels only enhance the illusion! For those readers who are a fan of Blake's show "Gossip Girl," are you enjoying this new season thus far? I'm sure you've heard the news that Lady GaGa will have a cameo in an upcoming episode, but unlike recent guest stars Hilary Duff and Tyra Banks, GaGa will be playing herself - and possibly even sing! Who out there will tune in for this? I know I will!

her frowny pout thing is getting old. the dress is very nice but looks too short. yea her legs are long, we get it, but the skirt part is just too short. it looks disproportional. and the uber-push up bra is unnecessary. stop dressing like a playboy bunny blake.

yeah, I hadn't noticed but it's like she's trying too hard to be ultra sexy; she already is gorgeous, she doesn't need push up bras + super short skirts and pouts to prove it

I read that instead of using a stylist she looks at style.com and contacts the designers directly. This is an example of where she should have had the dress custom made for her with a longer bodice. Still a gorgeous look but she could tone down the kitten vibe a little

Im not feelin this on her.. it's like she tried to go for edgy but gave up on the hair n make up part.. if you're gonna do it, do it all the way!
