BLAKE SETS THE RECORD STRAIGHT

Leighton Meester was seen on the set of her hit show "Gossip Girl" in NYC on November 12, keeping comfortable in a pair of Uggs in-between takes and giving her best scheming Blair Waldorf looks while the camera was rolling. For a Leighton (or in this case, Blair)-inspired look, start with a cherry red winter coat, like Suzabelle's Ballard Coat in Red, over a conservative yet youthful black dress, similar to Shumaq's Sasha Keyhole Dress in Black. Finish off your look with a pair of winter white leggings (Zoa's Logo Long Leggings in White will do nicely) and a red handbag (check out Carla Mancini's The Shopper Bag in Red), and you'll be popping up on the pages of GG in no time! While Leighton and her co-star Blake Lively are no stranger to rumors that there is on-set animosity, and now Blake is speaking out about to put an end to these rumors. She said, "There are obviously always little dramas. You are on set for 16 hours, so people get irritable. In any workplace there are always little things and frustrations. But, the media is always trying to pit us against each other. I guess because it's just not interesting to say, 'Everybody gets along; everybody just works 18-hour days and goes home to sleep." Seems like the truth, don't you think?

Yes, the red coat is chic, but the white tights? REALLY? According to the fall fashion tips featured on AskMelissa.com, opaque tights are the way to go. okay opaque refers to the texture, not color so the tights are opaque.. and uggs were never chic as far as i'm concerned they've always been ugly but comfortable.. the only people that think uggs were ever chic are little high school kids..
