Blake Lively was spotted on the red carpet of the premiere for the film Australia in NYC on November 24, without off-screen beau Penn Badgley. It's funny, because I feel like Blake can either knock it out of the park with her outfit choices, or she is just slightly off, either dressing too old for her age and just not getting it right. This is definitely one of those times. I would have completely done without the tights, and possible opted for a more youthful skirt. Blake started with an ivory cardigan tucked into her black lace skirt (check out Gold Hawk's Embroidered Skirt in Raven Black), and accessorized with a high waist belt (take a look at Linea Pelle Collection's edgier Waist Belt with Leather Covered Studs in Steel Grey), a statement gold ring (like Rachel Leigh's Nicoli Ring in Gold), and black t-strap heels. What are your thoughts on Blake's look- love it or leave it? In other Lively news, Blake is talking about how she is definitely not one of Young Hollywood's typical "partier" set. She says, "I grew up with the mind set that, after work, you go to dinner and watch a movie. I don't want to go to a club and not wear panties. New York City is a magical place to film and live. It's actually a character in the show. Our show wouldn't work if it wasn't in New York. I can't even describe what I love about the city, because it's so many things - the people, the streets, the stores. It just makes me warm and fuzzy." What are your thoughts, do you agree with Blake's sentiments of NYC?
