Diane Kruger is on such a hot fashion streak this week I had trouble deciding which looks to feature! First up, Di brought a little edge to the red carpet in her native Berlin at the premiere of Sherlock Holmes on January 12. Working an edgy black and gunmetal look that would have looked like a couture space suit on anyone else, DK started with a black Karl Lagerfeld zip front mini with armor-like bolero insets at the top (play up the LBD meets the future look with Sue Wong's metallic accented Short Bubble Dress in Black or Karen Zambos' flirty Katia Dress in Black with a similarly shaped skirt). Staying warm in black leggings, Di upped the vibe with her envious above the knee leather boots (try Farylrobin's appropriately named Frankfurt in Black) and completed the look with a petite python box clutch (just like Inge Christopher's Multi Metallic Boa Minaudiere in Multi). The only thing I'm not 100% loving is her hair – the headband seems unnecessary with such a hard look and makes it seem like she's trying to add a romantic twist to this 'fit. Still, I'm glad she wore her hair up to show off the dramatic sculptured shoulders of this gorgeous frock. What do you readers think of her look? A close runner up in my fashion rundown for the week was Di's look at the Critic's Choice Awards, held on January 15 in Hollywood. The only thing I don't love about her gorgeous full length gown is the color – why white in the middle of winter? I just haven't caught on to this trend yet. Are any of you picking up on snowy hues this season?
