Blake Lively made an appearance at the launch of Barlow at the Los Feliz taqueria in NYC's Lower East Side on February 25, along with boyfriend Penn Badgley, Ed Westwick, "White Collar" star Matt Bomer, Melissa George, and Barlow designer Molly Girard Coonan. For her evening ensemble, Blake paired a high-waisted stitched skirt (check out 7 for All Mankind's Pencil Skirt in Indigo for a denim option) with a tucked in silk tank (try Gold Hawk's Wedge Tank in Emerald) and bordeaux pumps. Jewelry wise, Blake's right wrist was adorned with a massive selection of silver bangles (get the look for less with Amrita Singh's India Metal Set in Gunmetal) and long chain earrings (similar to Circadian Studios' Silver Long Fringe Earrings). I think BL looks great here, although I must assume she was a bit cold in NYC, no? With Blake starring in the upcoming Ben Affleck-directed flick The Town, Ben took the opportunity to gush how much he adores the blonde actress. Says Affleck, "I have never seen 'Gossip Girl,' I have to say. I saw 'The Private Lives of Pippa Lee,' which she's really, really great in and she's great in my movie. This girl came in, and no one had said to me beforehand, 'Hey, look for this person.' And obviously she was really attractive, and so I thought, Oh, here comes some blonde girl. She came in, did one reading, and just crushed it. Like, Boston accent—really good. I was sort of stunned. I said, 'Jeez, you know, that was really f*cking good. Who are you?'" Uh oh, I wonder if Jen should be nervous? I mean, they do have a sex scene in the movie! ;)
