The adorable Emmy Rossum was spotted smiling for the paps as she made her way through LAX on February 4, pulling along her Louis Vuitton suitcase and donning a tan fedora with a black ribbon. ER kept it casual for the rest of her 'fit, pairing medium wash skinny denim (like Genetic Denim's The Gabrielle Jean in Brighter Day) with a heather grey longsleeve t-shirt (check out similar options in either Raw 7's Long Sleeve Modal Crosswing Shirt in Dark Grey or P.G.D. Style's Basic Lonsleeve Tee in Clay), gold chain shoulder bag (for an extra bit of sparkle, check out Inge Christopher's Armadillo Trapezoid Clutch in Gold), and black ballet flats (like Coye Nokes' Amelia Flat in Black or Gwyneth Shoes' glitzy Maxie Sequin Flat in Black/Silver). What are your thoughts on Emmy's airport ensemble, readers? Do you think she looks beautiful or boring? It seems like so many stars (well, mostly "The Hills" cast mates) are discussing Heidi Montag's shocking plastic surgery, and Emmy posted a message to her official Twitter account about her thoughts on the whole situation. She oh-so-eloquently said, "It upsets me to see young women in the spotlight advocating plastic surgery. ANY surgery is extremely dangerous&should not be taken lightly, much less, used as a tool to increase notoriety or popularity. By putting this on magazine covers, we are somehow legitimizing the dangerous lengths to which some will go for fame and beauty. There are so many REAL ISSUES in this world that NEED attention. Let's try to take a moment to be grateful we are ALIVE." Amen! I totally agree with Emmy, what are your thoughts?

cute! great casual style!! for some reason i dont like the wash of the jeansguest on Feb 09 2010 @ 08:33 AM
Of course it shouldn't be taken lightly, but to say that "any surgery is extremely dangerous" - talk about gross misstatement. There might be risks in all surgeries, but most are not extreme.
I agree with her that there are more important things to focus on (and Heidi's surgery was mostly unnecessary IMO), but it's also bugs me a bit when naturally beautiful people talk about how bad & shallow plastic surgery is - like rich people saying money doesn't matter..guest on Feb 09 2010 @ 08:43 AM
Agreed with 8:43. If you were born with a giant ugly nose and made fun of because of it then you may want to go under the knife... not to be Hollywood beautiful, but to feel more comfortable in your skin.guest on Feb 09 2010 @ 09:16 PM
she looks cute on the left pictureguest on Feb 10 2010 @ 06:09 AM
I don't think she said that "ugly" people shouldn't get surgery; she said that magazines should be more responsible on what they put on their covers, because by paying this much attention to Frankenheid they are sort of making these kinds of things a legitimate way of being famous, and there is no point in that.guest on Feb 10 2010 @ 11:41 AM
Yes, that is true.. but naturally beautiful people need to STFU about it.guest on Feb 11 2010 @ 12:54 AM
